HARRIETT BALDWIN today set out her campaign priorities as she launched her campaign to be re-elected as the Conservative MP for West Worcestershire.
Top of her list is helping to grow the local economy and create new jobs alongside improving superfast broadband, good rail connections and better roads.
She also wants to secure fairer funding for local schools and further increase flood protection.
Harriett today took her campaign to Pershore before visiting homes and businesses across the town.
Harriett said: “It has been a privilege to represent the people of West Worcestershire in Westminster for the last five years and I am proud of the progress in the area.
“More than 6,000 more people are in work than when I was elected in 2010. It is great to see more and more people enjoying the security of a monthly pay packet but there is still much more to do to get full employment.
“We have seen a brand-new community hospital in Malvern and a new oncology centre at Worcester Royal Hospital.
"We've also made good progress on the Superfast broadband rollout."
“School funding has become a bit fairer, but there's more to do to get a better deal for Worcestershire."
“I hope that the people of West Worcestershire will vote for me to continue to fight for progress in our area."
