WEST WORCESTERSHIRE MP Harriett Baldwin joined residents at Clarence Park in Malvern to celebrate the installation of a vital defibrillator.
The MP was asked to formally unveil the new kit at the Malvern Link retirement village on Friday (December 16) together with local county councillor Paul Tuthill and local residents.
Harriett was approached by constituents to try and secure funding for the defibrillator and support was offered by the British Heart Foundation.
Harriett commented: “I hold regular advice surgeries at Clarence Park and I was approached by constituents to try and assist securing funding for a defibrillator.
“Obviously, we all hope that it will not be needed but it is good to know that such an important piece of life-saving equipment is close at hand in the plush retirement village.
“Clarence Park is such a lovely place to live and I was pleased to chat to residents and staff and help to unveil this early, much-welcomed Christmas present.”
