Harriett Baldwin MP has this week issued a fresh statement of frustration in relation to the ongoing battle to improve parking facilities at Pershore Railway Station.
In an article in this week's Evesham Journal Harriett is quoted as saying: " I have been involved in a long dialogue with both National Rail and Great Western Railway to try to find a way to deliver a new car park and connecting footbridge much faster and much more cheaply. In my view both organisations are looking for a reason not to support this and it has been extremely frustrating not just for me but also for the hundreds of rail passengers and potential rail passengers disappointed by this lack of action. I have also raised this matter with the Department for Transport and hope to be meeting with a senior director from Network Rail in Pershore shortly"
