WEST WORCESTERSHIRE MP Harriett Baldwin has offered her support to a growing family business which is developing cutting-edge virtual reality technology applications in Malvern.
Seedtech, based at Malvern Hills Science Park, specialises in photorealistic 3D visualisation, animation and simulation as well as developing computer based training with a focus on the delivery of fully immersive interactive environments and virtual reality.
Using the latest computer games technology, the company recently produced one of the most advanced classroom-based training applications for one of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers.
Harriett met with the company to discuss its growth plans and to learn about a proposal to enhance UK Taser training for local police forces.
Harriett said: “I have seen some very interesting virtual reality applications under development as part of my duties in the Ministry of Defence and it is great to see cutting edge thinking taking place in Malvern.
“Seedtech is a family business which clearly has great ambitions and I hope I was able to give them a few pointers when we met.
“This is yet another example of a brilliant little business with great ideas and I hope to see them grow and expand in the years to come.”
Seedtech’s Jon May added: "We are a dedicated company with a passion and enthusiasm for providing interactive and immersive experiences. We strive to stay at the forefront of technology with an aim to becoming a major contributor in the world of innovation, especially in training."
